Cast and Crew Bios
Meet some of the artists from New York and Los Angeles who contributed to Nailing Jello.
Holly most recently starred in Attackazoids!, an official selection of the Maryland,  Action on Film, Minneapolis Underground, Atlanta Underground and Coney Island Film Festivals, and a finalist at the USA Film Festival.  A previous project, Deleted Scenes, has screened at the San Francisco Shorts, Coney Island, VisionFest, MethodFest, Smogdance and the New Orleans Film Festivals. After working with director Ryan Gielen on this short film, Holly was invited to contribute to his first feature, The Graduates, with a cameo appearance.  Other acting projects on the festival circuit include What Happened on the Fourth Date and Sour Flower
 
Her written work has been thrice produced at the legendary Bowery Poetry Club, and has also appeared at the Westbeth Theater and Stain.  Holly's appearance as a featured dancer on Inside the Actors Studio with John Travolta garnered mention in the Hollywood Reporter.  And her performance in Attackazoids! has been praised by Extraordinary Movie & Video Guide, Twitch.net, Crackle.com, and earned her a Best Actress nomination at Philadelphia’s Terror Film Festival.
 
In addition to Nailing Jello, projects in development include a starring role in the feature, Bride to Be, with laureled indie director, Dusty Bias, costume design for Attackazoids! director, Brian Lonano, in addition to solo and collaborative writing projects. 
 
Holly has an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School, a BA from the University of Portland (Oregon), has studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre School, and is a private acting student of Gene Lasko.

Brian has worked at Manhattan Ensemble Theater (The Shadow Box, Tempest Toss’d Fools), BAM (Fools In Love), Westbeth Theater (Tape and Joined at the Head), LaMama ETC (A Case of Murder), Tongue in Cheek Theatre (The Baltimore Waltz, Love Letters), Prospect Theater Company (Variations on the Death of Trotsky), and the NY Fringe Festival (Penguins, Puppies & Porn), and regionally with Petoskey Theater Festival (Macbeth, As You Like It, Pigeon River Opera).  Beyond theater, Brian can be seen in The Unidentified, The Graduates, and Deleted Scenes, which are currently making the festival circuit, including the Brooklyn International, South Africa, VisionFest, MethodFest, San Francisco, New Orleans, Coney Island and Rhode Island Film Festivals.  
 
Brian began producing theater in association with Petoskey Theater Festival, staging new plays from up-and-coming playwrights.  He continued producing industry showcases and productions with Creative Artists Laboratory.  After forming Will Pork Productions with Deirdre MacNamara, Brian produced Noel Coward’s Hay Fever, as well as the world premiere of Define Happiness (by Deirdre).  Will Pork has also produced fundraiser Variety Nights at Manhattan Ensemble Theater.
 
Brian has an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School and a BA in Communications from Oakland University (MI).  You can sometimes catch him on TV poking fun at James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio.

chantel was born in San Francisco, California.  She is a singer and actor who has performed, directed and choreographed on both coasts, regionally and internationally.  She has a BFA in Dance, Choreography and Theatre Arts from Mount Holyoke College and received her MFA from The Actors Studio Drama School. chantel is also a visual artist, photographer, jewelry maker and reflexologist.  www.chantellucier.com

Matt’s recent film credits include the independent features Company K, The Big Charade, Sovereignty, and Olympia, which have appeared at the Toronto, Big Muddy, San Jose, Austin, and Long Island film festivals. Matt has appeared in Law & Order, The Fugitive and Nash Bridges. Matt has also worked with ACT, The Shakespeare Theatre, The Guthrie, Seattle Rep, and the Humana Festival Actors Theatre of Louisville. He is a graduate of the University of Washington MFA Acting Program and Stanford University.

Cooper is a Method-trained actress with a Second City Improv background.  She is currently in production with the film Future Life Coach and has begun a budding career in voice-overs with the short film Diggy.  Also a playwright, Cooper is a founding member of The Artistic New Directions Improv Ensemble (set to mount its first production this fall).

Rob is stoked to have been given a chance to be in a film with Brian and Holly again after previously working with them on Ryan Gielen’s The Graduates.  Even though he is only featured in this film, Rob reminds us that someone intelligent once said, “There are no small parts, just small actors.”  Think on that.

Jenny is an actor/singer/director who has worked in film, voice-over, theatre, and as a teaching artist. Katie graduated from The New School for Drama with an MFA in acting and has recently been seen in Office Hours, I Have It, and Mom Stoned with Phare Play Productions. Other credits include Sick, Space, Appetite, Caucasian Chalk Circle and she has also appeared on As The World Turns.

Melanie is a classically-trained musical theatre actress with a non-traditional sound who recently made the transition to voiceover actress with a kick-ass sound, if she does say so herself.  In her spare time she dabbles in film, writing, and barbecue sauce.

Krista’s film credits go out to Conventioneers winner of the Independent Spirit Award, Not Intent on Arriving, Devil Within Us, and What I Want.  Theatre credits include: Vassa, Guided Consideration of a Lamentable Deed, and A Streetcar Named Desire.  As a producer, Krista boasts: UnLonely Planet, Cigarette, The Wedding Party, and Killer.

Ricardo most recently appeared off-broadway in Night Over Taos directed by Estelle Parsons. His film Asuntos de Familia won at the Latin Short Film Festival '06.
Adam has worked off and off-off Broadway as well as on London’s West End.  He is currently featured in the internationally acclaimed  film, Monógomo Sucesivo.  He may be best known for his voiceover work for clients including MacDonald’s, Bacardi, Air Tran and many more.  www.adamwald.com

Jane Selle Morgan (Director): Jane is a graduate of San Diego State University where she was named Top Graduate of the film department and won a student Emmy.  Her short films have screened on IFC, AMC, PBS and AtomFilms.com.  She helmed the winner of the YouTube-Award-Winning series "The Guild", which also won the Best Webseries award at the SXSW Film Festival and a Yahoo Award in 2008.  Future projects include a dramedy feature film about a rocket scientist. Mitch Bacharach (Producer): Mitch says he drifted into movie making several years ago after a career trading technical products and military equipment left him “unfulfilled.” You'd think that a man his age would know better, but apparently he's having too much fun producing low budget films to do anything else.

Raz (Editor): Raz moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to become a rock star.  When that didn't work out as planned, he became an editor. His projects have ranged in short and long form, and his recent work includes Alanis Morisette’s video for “Underneath.”  www.project4studios.com


Lynne Wilson (Costume Design - Script Supervision): Lynne's costumes have been seen regionally in Philadelphia and Ohio, as well as in the Greedy Falcon short film The Game.  Her most recent wardrobe credits include As the World Turns, Rent, Guiding Light, Another World, and Beauty and the Beast.


Annie Mistak (Hair & Make-Up): Annie trained under the makeup artists of the Cincinnati Ballet, the University of Tulsa, and various people in New York.  Recent work took place on the feature The Speed of Thought and the webseries The Fantastic Two.  www.anniemistak.com


Matthew Gielen (1st Assistant Director): Matt is a freelance Producer and AD in NYC. He's worked on projects of all scopes and sizes from $0 budgets to multi-million dollar budgets. His most recent project, The Graduates, is currently on the festival circuit.  www.graduatesmovie.com


Andrew “Tank” Rivara (Gaffer): Tank works as a freelance gaffer, director of photography, writer and director.  His first film, Sour Flower, is currently on the festival circuit.  While mustering up ideas for his next directing project, he hops around among studios, theaters and music video sets doing grip and electric work.


Brian Lonano (Sound Designer):  Brian is an underground horror and sci-fi filmmaker whose short films (including his latest: Attackazoids!) have screened at genre and underground festivals across the United States and internationally.  His interest in sound design comes from creating most of the sound effects for his films.


Lori Evanson (Script Supervision - Additional Production Assistance): Lori previously worked as script supervisor for the short film Inspiration by Yum Yum Productions in 2005, and is currently working to complete a short film she produced, Lulu on the B77.

JC’s credits include Beyond the Boundry (Ohio Theatre), West Side Story (Boheme Opera), Sal’s Back (American Place Theatre) and the staged reading of Nailing Jello (NSD).  JC holds an M.F.A. from the Actor’s Studio/New School for Drama.
Deirdre MacNamara is an actress/writer/producer in New York City. With Brian Seibert, she is co-founder of Will Pork Productions. Currently working on her one-woman show, "Wakey, Wakey!" scheduled to go up at the PIT in December.
